Our goal: climate neutral by 2050
The food sector has a considerable impact on the environment and the climate. In Germany, food from production through to consumption accounts for around 17% of greenhouse gas emissions.
At Trend MEAL we are deliberately committed to reducing CO2 emissions and waste and to managing land sustainably, with the overarching goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2050.
Recyclebare Verpackungen
The packaging materials used at Trend MEAL are sourced, processed and disposed of in an environmentally responsible way.

Keeping our carbon footprint as low as possible matters to us. We work constantly to reduce it further.
Kurze Lieferwege
Wherever we can, we make a point of using regional and national produce and raw materials for our products.
Convenience
Using convenience products in the food sector saves around 50% CO2 compared with producing in house (for example, CO2 saved on the maintenance of kitchen equipment).
Energiemanagement
We source most of our energy from renewables and are continually working to improve energy efficiency.

When selecting our raw materials we always consider quality and the impact on the environment, people and animals.
Bio
We are a certified operation under the EU Organic Regulation.
Tierwohl
The humane treatment of animals matters greatly to us at every stage of the value chain. Our goal is to make the sourcing of animal products more sustainable still.

Our company is randomly and unannouncedly inspected by the responsible authorities to ensure compliance with food regulations. We receive an IFS certification for food safety and quality every year and are also certified by LACON GmbH for organic production and labeling.
