Food has a significant impact on the environment and the climate. According to the German Environment Agency (Umweltbundesamt), food accounted for 1.7 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent, or 15% of the average annual per-capita carbon footprint in Germany.
We are currently expanding how we record our operational energy and emissions data. We will report on specific measures, figures and developments once the data, reference period and evidence have been verified.
Here we show whom we support and how we work together with our employees.
In 2025 we supported the Rengschburger Herzen with a total of 119,205 portions of 400 g each.

Our company is randomly and unannouncedly inspected by the responsible authorities to ensure compliance with food regulations. We receive an IFS certification for food safety and quality every year and are also certified by LACON GmbH for organic production and labeling.

On this page we report on selected measures and developments in sourcing, production, packaging and collaboration.
We are working to record relevant sustainability information systematically and present it transparently. To do this, we are implementing the voluntary VSME standard. Our first report is currently planned for the second quarter of 2027.
Statements on individual measures, figures and targets are reviewed on an ongoing basis and added once the underlying data, reference periods and evidence are available.
